BIOGRAPHY

Victoria Safronova was born in the former USSR, Ukraine. In 1993 she got the honours degree at the Gnesin College of Music, Moscow (Vocal course under Professor M. Landa).
Later on Victoria continued her education at The Tchaikovsky Conservatory and finished the Vocal course (1998) under Professor Irina Maslennikova.

In 1996 Victoria Safronova received a Second Prize at the Zimin International Vocal Competition (Moscow, Bolshoi Theatre).
In 1995 - 1996 she was a soloist at the "Novaya Opera" Opera Theatre (Moscow).

In 1996 - 1999 Victoria was a soloist at the Stanislavsky-Nemirovitch-Danchenko Theatre in Moscow where her roles included the title role in Massenet's Thais, Elvira in Verdi's Ernani, Musetta in Puccini's La Boheme and the title role in Bizet's Carmen.

In 1999 she moved to Israel.

Victoria won 3rd prize in the Hilde Zadek International Competition in Passau, Germany in 2000.
In 2001 Victoria Safronova presented Israel at the International Competition BBC Singer of the World.

In the 2002 by invitation of conductor Zubin Mehta she took part in the Young Artists Programm of the Bawarian State Oper (München).

Since 2003 Victiria Safronova is performing on the stages of many different Opera Houses of the world; among them - Münster, Dortmund, Moscow, Israel Opera (Tel-Aviv).
Since 2004 Victoria is soloist of the Opera Deutsche Oper am Rhein (Düsseldorf, Duisburg).
